Boards of directors
Thomas Ivarson has a broad international business experience. He has held several senior executive and management positions in the IT industry, at Ericsson and later EHPT AB in Sweden, CMG Wireless Data Solutions BV in Holland, Logica PLC in London, etc. He’s an investor in small and medium size companies and has significant experience of merger & acquisitions. He sits on several boards of directors. Thomas has an M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Chalmers Technical University in Gothenburg and a business degree from the University of Gothenburg.
Birgitta Stymne Göransson has extensive business and Board experience ranging from medtech, healthcare and retail to management consulting and IT. Prior to being a full time senior advisor and Board professional she was CEO of Memira Group and of Semantix, and COO and CFO of Telefos Group, CFO at Åhlens and management consultant with McKinsey & Co. Birgitta holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and M.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
Bengt Engström has held a number of senior executive positions at several companies, both in Sweden and globally, for example at Whirlpool, Bofors AB, Duni AB and Fujitsu. He sits on several boards of listed and unlisted companies and has a comprehensive experience in merging and acquiring companies. Bengt has an M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
AdvInvest AB is the sole owner of Advania AB. AdvInvest consists of a group of Swedish and Icelandic investors, led by Thomas Ivarsson chairman of the Board of Directors. The Advania management team has 30% shares in AdvInvest.
