“We report beyond what’s required because openness builds trust and drives performance,” said Hege Støre, CEO of Advania. “Sustainability isn’t a side effort – it’s a strategic priority for a fast-growing company with long-term ambitions.”
A major milestone in 2024 was the launch of Advania Dreamhouse in Enköping, Sweden – a state-of-the-art refurbishment center designed to process millions of IT devices annually. The facility is certified BREEAM-SE "Excellent," underscoring Advania’s commitment to circularity, carbon reduction, and responsible growth.
In Sweden, Advania also achieved a 25% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, with 25% of hardware units sold coming from refurbished stock – boosting both environmental impact and customer value.
Advania’s decentralized model empowers each country to pursue sustainability priorities within a shared Group framework. 2024 highlights include:
With cybersecurity threats growing, Advania recognizes that protecting sensitive data is a fundamental part of sustainable business. Investments made in 2024 strengthened digital resilience, safeguarded operations, and deepened customer trust – reinforcing cybersecurity as a key pillar of sustainability.
The year also saw continued expansion of Advania’s sustainable talent networks. In South Africa, Serbia, Sri Lanka, and Poland, Advania's nearshore hubs are built on selecting expertise, not cost. Salaries are based on role value rather than local wage levels, and community development is supported through donations of IT equipment to schools and partnerships with micro-businesses, including 100% black-owned businesses in South Africa.
Governance structures were further reinforced during the year. Advania introduced ESG-linked executive incentives, provided CSRD training for all country CEOs, and strengthened oversight through the Group Audit, Sustainability, Risk, and Compliance Committee. These measures reflect Advania’s ongoing commitment to embedding sustainability into every level of decision-making and leadership.
“We’re building a company that creates long-term value – environmentally, socially, and economically,” said Støre. “Our people and our customers expect nothing less.”
With CSRD alignment now firmly embedded, Advania is well positioned to continue scaling its efforts across circularity, digital trust, responsible governance, and sustainable growth – staying true to its ambition of delivering lasting value for people, planet, and performance.
