In Gothenburg, Sweden, a new kind of bus depot is taking shape.

At Transdev’s facility in Järnbrott, only electric buses are allowed inside. Rows of vehicles charge between shifts, workshops and planning functions operate under one roof, and every part of the operation is connected.

In Järnbrott, Gothenburg, Transdev has built a depot designed entirely for electric vehicles. Solar panels cover the roof, charging stations are connected and automated, and the facility integrates workshop operations, service, training, and planning under one roof. To make it all work, Transdev partnered with Advania to build the digital backbone connecting planning systems, chargers, and operational tools across the complex site.

In the Swedish municipality of Höganäs, sustainability moves beyond policy into practice. In partnership with Advania, the IT department has established a circular system that extends device lifecycles while reducing environmental impact and operational costs.

Pelagia, a global leader in high-quality pelagic fish products, teamed up with Advania to transform its shipping operations using AI, achieving double-digit fuel savings and streamlined logistics.
