Advania has published its Annual and Sustainability Report for 2025, highlighting continued progress in its environmental, social, and governance performance, alongside a growing role in helping customers reduce the impact of their IT operations.
During the year, Advania advanced its sustainability position across multiple areas, including improved external ratings, continued integration of sustainability into its operations, and an increased focus on supporting customers in managing the environmental footprint of their technology.

Total Lifecycle Management is one of Advania’s three strategic growth priorities. The appointment of Joel Sundström as Strategy Director marks an important step in strengthening how the company develops and scales this offering across markets.

Joel joins from Casi, a Norwegian mobility tech company, where he was Chief Commercial Officer. He previously worked in business development and innovation, and earlier as a management consultant at Accenture advising Nordic clients. He holds an M.Sc. in Engineering Physics and a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Uppsala University.

In Gothenburg, Sweden, a new kind of bus depot is taking shape.

At Transdev’s facility in Järnbrott, only electric buses are allowed inside. Rows of vehicles charge between shifts, workshops and planning functions operate under one roof, and every part of the operation is connected.

This is not just a depot. It is a glimpse of how future public transport will work.

But for everything to run smoothly, the physical infrastructure needs a digital backbone. That’s where Advania steps in.

At Advania, we help organizations turn sustainability into tangible business value. In collaboration with a Finnish customer, we delivered a refurbished device solution that combined lower costs, reduced emissions, and secure lifecycle management, resulting in nearly €80,000 in savings without compromising quality or compliance.

The customer, StaffPoint, is one of Finland’s leading personnel service companies, providing services in recruitment, staffing, and training. Alongside its commercial operations, StaffPoint plays an important societal role through initiatives such as integration training for immigrants and employment coaching for job seekers. Supporting this mission requires reliable technology, but also smart and responsible choices.

Advania’s purpose is to create sustainable value for organizations and society through technology. That commitment includes taking real responsibility for our own environmental impact. Today, we are proud to share that Advania Norway has joined Advania Sweden and Advania Iceland with climate targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

Together, these three markets represent an important milestone on our shared journey toward having all Advania companies validated by SBTi before 2030, a commitment established earlier this year and now communicated publicly for the first time.

Advania has officially opened the Dreamhouse — a landmark logistics and refurbishment facility designed to refurbish one million IT devices annually. Located in Enköping, Sweden, the Dreamhouse is now fully operational, powering public and private organizations with devices that have up to 70% lower carbon impact — yet are so powerful, users can’t tell the difference from brand-new ones.

Advania has published its 2024 Annual and Sustainability Report, marking a year of strong progress in climate action, governance, and transparency. The company has chosen to align early with the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)—well ahead of regulatory deadlines—demonstrating its commitment to clear, accountable, and forward-looking reporting.

Refurbished devices in public administration are a high-quality, reliable, environmentally responsible, and overall economic option. For the past three years, Advania has been establishing a market for circular IT devices targeting educational institutions, municipalities, and cities.

Since November 2016, Advania SA have participated in incentive programmes through the Republic of South Africa’s Department of Trade, Industry and Competition. The primary objective of these programmes is to create employment in South Africa through servicing offshore activities, with a secondary objective of creating employment opportunities for the youth (age 18 to 34), and to contribute to the country’s export revenue from offshoring services.
